About

the founder
True Brodo began with a bowl of pho, hay fever, and a drum kit. As a professional touring musician, Jonas Cslovjecsek discovered the Vietnamese soup – fresh, spicy, and full of energy. A meal that nourishes and strengthens.
Back in Switzerland, a friend told him about the GAPS diet – and that bone broth could help relieve hay fever. The book, however, was far too complicated for him. Instead, Jonas developed his own simple version: broth, meat, vegetables – and simply omit the carbohydrates. No sugar, no grains, no exceptions.
Three weeks later, the hay fever was gone – and a new passion was born.
His treatment became the model for our 6- and 12-day treatments; the recipe can still be found on the website today.
What began as a personal experiment quickly spread. Friends wanted to try it, then acquaintances – and soon it became a small production company. Jonas tinkered with recipes, perfecting the taste and quality – and realized: This is more than just a hobby.
This is how True Brodo was born – made with conviction, with heart and by hand.
That's why he doesn't have much time for music anymore, but he's not the first to switch from drums to pots...

The products
Our range of slowly and gently cooked organic bone broths and an instant organic vegetable bouillon offers particularly high nutritional density. All products are Bio Suisse certified – ideal companions for fasting and cleansing routines.
In our own Bio Suisse-certified production kitchen, we use only the highest quality organic ingredients. This ensures not only quality and tolerability, but also a naturally balanced taste.
We are committed to sustainability and fighting food waste: we use high-quality organic bones that are often no longer used in today’s food production, even though they are naturally rich in collagen, amino acids, and minerals. In this way, we close the cycle and support gut health naturally.

Cooking
TrueBrodo is the Swiss organic manufacturer of highly concentrated and delicious broths, just like in our great-grandmother's day. Of course, we no longer cook over a fire, but otherwise everything is just like it used to be: handmade and regional. We produce our products in small batches from unprocessed ingredients and with as few processing steps as possible in our own production kitchen. We do not use any industrial aids or additives to achieve our incomparable flavor (i.e., no yeast extract, MSG, seasoning, soy, maltodextrin, or even sugar).
