Broccoli braised with ragout in bone broth

This recipe can be used as a regular meal or during the 6- and 12-day diets. By omitting carbohydrates, the body remains in ketosis.

Ingredients (1 person):

  • 100g beef ragout or sliced beef

  • 1/2 to 1 glass of True Brodo beef bone broth

  • clarified butter

  • A small onion and some garlic

  • Broccoli (or other green vegetables)

  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

  1. Sauté the onions in butter until translucent. Add the meat and sear briefly. Add the garlic only at the very end and sauté briefly.

  2. Deglaze with beef bone broth.

  3. Cook the meat in the broth until tender (30 minutes for sliced meat, simmer ragout for about 1-2 hours).

  4. Place the broccoli on top of the meat and steam for about 15 minutes with the lid closed.

  5. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
